Athena Lucie Assamba
Athena Lucie Assamba is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary artist. Being of Cameroonian origin, it was in her native land that she began her initiation into traditional and modern African dances. After moving to Montréal, she discovers waacking, which she adds to her movement mosaic. Athena also expresses her art through various other mediums, such as fashion design, music and singing, which are all part of her universe. She describes her art as the product of the mysticism of the African essence: its spirituality, its culture, its imagination and all its states of existence. Through her art, she explores ancestral and untransmitted knowledge, healing, and freedom.

Pénélope Gromko
Pénélope Gromko has been working in the Québec dance scene since her graduation from École de danse contemporaine de Montréal in 2018. Despite having contracts as a performer after graduating, it is creation that most appeals to her. Her need to create stems from her cycles of introspection influenced by her life experiences. It is her way of digesting them and helping her transform into new versions of herself. Pénélope’s approach to choreography is multidisciplinary, integrating theatre as well as the visual arts. In 2022, she learned artistic welding.

Silvia Sanchez discovers dance as a student at the Conservatoire de musique de Genève in Switzerland. In 2015, she begins her professional training at École de danse contemporaine de Montréal. Upon completing the program, she collaborates with various artists as a performer, outside eye, or to lead cultural mediation workshops. Since then, she has developed an interest in an acrobatic approach to movement, drawing on athletic and circus disciplines. Without losing sight of her original passion, she is now blossoming in a more aerial expression of her art. These numerous encounters only nourish her passion for dance and further develop her creativity.
Emmanuelle Bourassa Beaudoin danced for many independent choreographers. She also danced for several years with the Dave St-Pierre company and with Le Carré des Lombes. She collaborated as a rehearsal director with Danièle Desnoyers, Estelle Clareton, Marie Chouinard, and some emergent choreographers. Accompanied by Zoey Gauld, Nicolas Patry and Mathi Loisier-Pellerin, she participated in pédagogie à passation projects with Angélique Willkie and Linda Rabin. Assisted by her famous Ludo, she taught classes related to movement at École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, UQAM and the National Theatre School of Canada. Outside dance, Emmanuelle is always fascinated by her QI Gong practice, sings all the time, offers her time as an activist for the environment and, as soon as she gets a chance, she flees to nature for a backpacking trip.
Raoul Beaudin was born in Longueuil. At the age of four, he discovered his passion for lighting while watching a Pink Floyd concert on DVD. In 2014, he approached the lighting technician at the main stage of the Francofolies de Montréal. By sharing his passion, Raoul was pleasantly surprised to be invited as an observer for the following days, and this went on for the next seven years. After finishing high school, he became head Ix at Club Soda and began working on several shows in venues across Montréal. Since 2023, he has been practicing his profession through tours and festivals all over Québec. “I am in love with our Québec culture.”
