Schools

We love to share our passion for contemporary dance with school groups. Our cultural mediation approach is rooted in human interaction and rests on values we hold dear, such as kindness, collaboration, generosity, inventiveness, intimacy, and risk-taking. We are convinced that contemporary art is a social force and we support creativity in contemporary dance in all its aesthetic movements and diverse forms.

CÉLINE RICHARD ROBICHON
imagé

Three performers confront the obstacles that can arise on the road to a positive self-image. The show focuses on adolescence, a particularly sensitive period for learning to appreciate oneself. By addressing themes of comparison, competition and perfectionism, imagé reveals how our perception of ourselves can drift away from reality until the person in the mirror becomes a stranger. By exploring street dance on the contemporary stage, the piece highlights our neglectful behaviours towards ourselves and finds a life lesson in the diversity found in nature. Through this realization, the power of our uniqueness is revealed.
