Meet the Artists

This activity is for people who want to learn more about contemporary dance. Interact with artists with varied professional and ethnocultural backgrounds, aesthetics, creative processes, etc!

This package includes three (3) visits:

• A dress rehearsal in one of our spaces and a discussion with Artist A (+ a backstage visit, if possible)
• A Tangente show with Artists A and B (we often present two artists on the same night)
• A master class in your studio or rehearsal space with Artist A, B, or C

Visit a Theatre Space

Discover what goes on behind the scenes (and centre stage!) in a transformable theatre space with a member from our team. You will be able to learn more about the different parameters that choreographers and their collaborators experiment with in order to create a work for the stage.

Attend a Dress or Open Rehearsal

Find out what goes into creating a choreographic work! We might even be able to organize a discussion with the artists so you can find out more about their inspiration and creative process.
