About Tangente<\/span><\/h2>

The first organization to specialize in dance presentation in Qu\u00e9bec, Tangente (est. 1980) champions emerging choreographers and offers contemporary dance programming from September to May. Each show is a unique experience that opens onto the experimental and the interdisciplinary. Our two intimate and transformable theatre spaces in \u00c9DIFICE WILDER \u2013 Espace danse in the heart of Quartier des spectacles allow us to ensure that the avant-garde and the alternative scene have a foothold in downtown Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

In an effort to care for all our relations, we wish to acknowledge that Tangente is established on unceded indigenous territory where living and non-living beings have coexisted since time immemorial.<\/p>\n

The Kanien\u2019keh\u00e1:ka are now recognized as the custodians of the lands and waters of this territory called Tio\u2019tia:ke.<\/p>\n
