Settling in Montr\u00e9al after touring as a dancer with Up With People, he begins a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Contemporary Dance at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.concordia.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Concordia<\/a> University before completing his training as a dancer at\u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edcm.ca\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EDCM<\/a>\u00a0in June of 2002. Upon graduating, he dances in the musical\u00a0<em>Man inc.<\/em>, written by Jacques Languirand and choreographed by Laurence Lemieux. Between 2001 and 2003, he is featured in three\u00a0Cine Qua Non\u00a0film productions choreographed by <a href=\"https:\/\/creationsestelleclareton.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Estelle Clareton<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caspublic.org\/english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Blackburn<\/a> and Danielle Tardif. He joins the Tangente team in 2004 as production manager after having volunteered with the organization for one year. In 2006, he becomes a programming associate. Beginning in early 2010, he shares the artistic and general direction of Tangente with Dena Davida.\u00a0In 2013, he takes over the general direction of the organization. St\u00e9phane has been a member of the Board of Directors for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ladansesurlesroutes.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">La danse sur les routes du Qu\u00e9bec<\/a>\u00a0and contemporary dance company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mandalasitu.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mandala Sit\u00f9<\/a>.
